Snow College Sophomore, Gavin Jones, is excited to join the Aggies under Andersen’s regime. One of his first tasks, changing into a much more becoming blue and white jersey. After that he’ll fit right in. Jones was quoted in the Herald Journal as saying:
“Their defensive scheme is a lot like I’ve always played in and that’s a [...]

Last night the Aggie men’s basketball team met and exceeded my expectations; tonight, the Aggie football team showed up just as I had predicted but failed to pull out the win. A busy week for Aggie sports provided a lot of excitement and entertainment for die-hard fans like me. It also provided ample new content [...]

Louisiana Tech did to New Mexico State what I was expecting USU to do to them, trounce them 45-7. Maybe Utah State would’ve been able to do that had they been playing at home like La. Tech was, but there is no excuse for the Aggies lack of performance against NMSU. It’s about the next [...]

Gary Andersen follows up two aggravating losses with the kind of news that reminds us all why it is a great time to be an Aggie fan. Two impressive high school football recruits have verbally committed to Utah State University and Gary Andersen.
Jordan High School QB Alex Hart was offered by Coach Andersen on Monday and [...]

First things first, Diondre Borel is one of the top quarterbacks in the WAC. He is far better than the quarterbacks USU has fielded in recent history. As a fan, I can’t be disappointed in the effort and determination shown by our QB.
Having said that, I have been doing a lot of thinking about what this [...]

The Utah State Aggies lost to the Nevada Wolfpack yesterday by 3 points, 35-32. 3 was also the margin of defeat in our game against NMSU last week. Herein lies the cunundrum: Nevada has a power ranking of 77 and NMSU is ranked 112th according to jhowell.net. How can we play so badly one week and so well the next? Had the [...]

USU football has a big game this weekend against a tougher than expected Nevada team, but you’d hardly know it from the newspapers.
It’s happening again, the same thing that happens every year at this time… Aggie fans, and the media alike, skip over the end of the football season as if it were the opening act for Utah [...]

It’s called Aggieville: USU Sports. It’s only been up and running for about a week now with short and sporadic content, but for USU fans this is good news.
For decades Aggie fans have complained about the lack of media coverage from the Salt Lake media, and probably for good reason. The Aggies have always played second [...]

“This is the hardest loss I’ve ever had to deal with in my life,” said Coach Gary Andersen at the post game press conference. He continued, “Undisciplined football teams don’t win games. We have not been undisciplined all year long. I would say we’ve been a very disciplined football team for four games.”
Andersen isn’t the [...]

If this video doesn’t get you juiced for the Aggies vs Aggies game today, what will?
With the game being in Las Cruces I doubt many blue Aggies will be in attendance. That’s okay. It’s still game day. Invite friends and family over for a barbecue and watch the game on Dish Network channel 447 or [...]
