About AggieNoise.com

As an out of state fan I have had to adapt to my new circumstances. I have learned how to keep up to date on all of the happenings of Utah State athletics. The purpose of this blog is to make that task a little less cumbersome for the rest of the long distance fans out there. I will include my commentary from time to time but will focus on providing news articles, pod casts, videos, and useful links for fellow Utah State fans.

For those in the know, Utah State has created a secret recipe for the perfect college sports atmosphere. I won’t claim to know the secret to their success but I do know a few key ingredients. The beautiful setting in mountainous Cache Valley is one. Others include: the intimate and fan friendly venues of Romney Stadium and The Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, a raucous student section that always wears Aggie blue, an underdog mentality, upstanding student-athletes,  top-notch coaching, a safe and friendly community, generous alumni, and a newfound administrative commitment.

For now, I am limited in my monetary supply and will have to make due with being a long distance fan bearing hope that one day I will again enjoy the unmatched atmosphere of a live home game. I know my ramblings and opinions are no substitute for the real thing, because the ramblings and opinions of reporters and writers just don’t do it for me. I do hope that this allows me a constructive vent for my sports passion and an interesting option for out of state Aggie fans, locals are invited too, to get their information.

So please, stay a while and come back often. If this turns out to be anything like I imagine it to be, your time will be well spent.
